You don't need a New Year
You do not need a New Year to begin again — you get fifty-two fresh starts a year. The Sunday Reset is a guided five-step ritual to revise the week behind you, script the week ahead, and enter the State Akin To Sleep already living it. Return every Sunday; your script waits on your device.
a New Year.
You get fifty-two fresh starts a year. Release the week behind you, script the week ahead, and fall asleep already living it. The next beginning is tonight.
Revise the week
Revision is reliving a moment the way you wished it had gone. Replayed until it feels natural, the corrected scene reshapes the impression it left on your subconscious — and changes what grows from it.
Give thanks
Gratitude turns attention toward abundance, and attention is the seed of more. Name what went right this week — however small. Press enter after each.
Script the week ahead
Write the coming week as though it has already happened, exactly as you wish. Speak from the end: I am, I have, it is done. This is your assumption, saved privately on this device, waiting for you next Sunday.
Enter the stillness
Lie back. Let the body grow heavy. Match your breath to the moon — in as it widens, out as it narrows — and let the words move through you. This is the State Akin To Sleep, where the wish is felt as already real.
Carry it into sleep
Hold the feeling as you drift off. Sleep presses the assumption into the deep mind, and the week will move to meet you. Rest now.
Come back next Sunday. Your script will be here, waiting.

The Sunday Reset: A Weekly Manifestation Ritual
What is a Sunday reset?
A Sunday reset is a weekly ritual, done on Sunday evening, to close out the past week and consciously set the tone for the week ahead. The manifestation version has five steps: revise what went wrong, give thanks for what went right, script the coming week in the present tense, enter the State Akin To Sleep, and seal the feeling of the wish fulfilled as you fall asleep. At The Universe Unveiled, the Sunday Reset is a five-step Law of Assumption ritual built on the principle that the inner state you occupy becomes the outer reality you live.
How do you do a Sunday reset?
At The Universe Unveiled, the Sunday Reset follows five steps, ideally on Sunday night, just before sleep:
- Revise the past week. Recall one moment that did not go as you wished, then mentally relive it the way you wanted it to happen, repeating the corrected scene until it feels natural. This is Neville Goddard's technique of revision, which reshapes the impression an event leaves on the subconscious.
- Give thanks. Name what went right this week, however small, to turn your attention toward abundance and align with more of the same.
- Script the week ahead. Write the coming week in the present tense, as if it has already happened exactly as you wish, speaking from the end: I am, I have, it is done.
- Enter the State Akin To Sleep. Lie still, relax the body, and slow the breath until you are on the edge of sleep, then dwell in a short scene that implies your wish is already fulfilled.
- Seal it and sleep. Hold the feeling of the wish fulfilled as you drift off, so sleep presses the assumption into the subconscious, which works to externalize it through the week.
What is a manifestation Sunday reset?
A manifestation Sunday reset is a Sunday reset done through the lens of the Law of Assumption rather than ordinary planning or journaling. Instead of only organizing tasks, you deliberately assume the feeling of the week you want as already real. The Universe Unveiled treats the Sunday Reset as applied manifestation: revision clears the past, scripting sets the assumption, and the State Akin To Sleep impresses it on the subconscious mind before you sleep.
What is the State Akin To Sleep (SATS)?
The State Akin To Sleep, or SATS, is the drowsy, deeply relaxed state on the threshold between waking and sleep, taught by Neville Goddard. In this state the conscious mind quiets and the subconscious becomes most receptive, so dwelling in a short scene that implies your wish is fulfilled impresses it most powerfully. This is why the Sunday Reset places SATS as its final step, right before sleep.
When is the best time for a Sunday reset?
Sunday evening, close to bedtime, is the best time. It places the ritual at two thresholds at once: the turn of the week and the turn into sleep. The final SATS step then lands exactly when the mind is winding down and most suggestible, so the feeling you carry into the night becomes the tone you wake into on Monday. Done weekly, the reset compounds — each Sunday you revise less and assume more, until a week that bends in your favor becomes your default state.
